STROMNESS, ORKNEY: 22 & 23 MARCH

We are coming to Orkney for a couple of days of events, networking and one to ones, all being held at Stromness Library.

GROWING PAINS:
Firstly it’s our cross sector workshop called ‘Growing Pains - A Remedy’. This half-day workshop is being held from 2pm - 5pm on 22 March and is designed to help you identify how to effectively and efficiently grow your creative business.

Over the course of the event you will explore what growth means to you and your practice, and identify the resources you need to make it happen. By the end of the day you will have made a start on your own personal growth plan.

We are lucky enough to be joined by the writer LG Thomson, who lives and works in Ullapool, on the north west coast of Scotland, where she writes Thrillers With Attitude. (www.thrillerswithattitude.co.uk). Lorraine will be talking about her work and her journey to where she is now.

There also will be plenty of opportunity to chat and exchange ideas with others, including hearing from inspirational speakers from the creative industries, who will share the story of successfully growing their businesses.
