XpoNorth is delighted to announce that next year’s edition of the festival will take place across Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th June 2018.
Eden Court Theatre and Cinema will again play host to the seminar element of the festival, which will see a range of leading figures from across the global creative industries gather to deliver a vibrant programme of seminars, masterclasses, keynote interviews and training opportunities.

XpoNorth’s firmly established multi-venue live music showcase will again take over Inverness City Centre, soundtracking it with over 60 of the best new bands from throughout the Highlands and Islands, the rest of Scotland and beyond.
Widely recognised as one of the most exciting conference and showcase events on the creative industries calendar, a range of film screenings, product showcases, receptions and special collaborations will also take place throughout Inverness as XpoNorth sets the city alight with creativity.
Music and Film submissions will open on Friday 26th January 2018.
As always, every element of XpoNorth will remain completely free to attend, with delegate registration also open from Friday 26th January 2018 live on the XpoNorth website.
In addition to the festival, the team at XpoNorth has announced details of a new dedicated 121 sector support service which is available to businesses and individuals based in the Highlands and Islands in the areas of Screen and Broadcast/ Craft, Fashion and Textiles/ Writing and Publishing/ Digital & Technology and Music.
This support is completely free to access and will be tailored around the specific requirements of your business. These programmes will be delivered by a range of passionate sector specialists with extensive experience producing support programmes for creative businesses across the Highlands and Islands.

XpoNorth is a conference and showcase festival devoted to the creative industries. It’s based in Inverness and for two jam-packed days and music-filled nights in June, hundreds of delegates come from all over Britain and further afield to meet, listen, participate and share ideas in the fields of screen and broadcast, gaming, design, fashion, textiles, writing, publishing, technology and music.
