#hellodigital is hosting three sessions this November in the Highlands looking at how (and whether) Virtual Reality can teach us something we’ve not experienced in the real world. Could you fly a plane after learning to fly in VR? If you experience a fatal crash in VR, would you drive differently in real world? These are just some of the questions that will be looked at.
Guest speakers include:
- Dr. Neil McDonnell from the Centre for the Study of Perceptual Experience, at the University of Glasgow speaking about how we learn, and about how our society might change, as a result of using VR
- Paul Speight from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service, speaking about an immersive in a pre and post-crash VR experience they’ve used to engage and influence the attitudes and behaviours of young drivers.
