Introductory Preparing to Export: Textiles, Craft & Fashion

Date: Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 October 2017
Location: An Crubh, Duisdale Beag, Sleat, Isle of Skye, IV43 8QU
Cost: This workshop is FREE to attend

If you’ve got a successful product that’s performing well in the home market – in textiles, jewellery, fashion or crafts – it’s worth exploring ways of selling it further afield.

With such a buoyant tourism industry in the Highlands, it’s likely that you’re already attracting interest from foreign buyers on holiday – so why not build on that success?

Highlands and Islands Enterprise, in partnership with Emergents and Scottish Development International, is running a FREE two day workshop to prepare your business for selling your products overseas.

If you’re in a creative industry, and want to get creative with new selling opportunities, don’t miss this chance to expand your knowledge and gain expertise in selling to international markets. It’s probably easier than you think – and only needs a couple of tweaks to your existing business model!

Preparing to Export is delivered by Highlands and Islands Enterprise, in partnership with Scottish Development International and is part funded through the European Regional Development Fund. Please note that the course is free of charge; because it’s a form of State Aid, it could count towards your overall De Minimis allowance.
