The Glenfiddich Distillery is pleased to announced details of the second residency exhibition of this summer.
Their second offering features a playful twist on the duality of the word spirits by the Canadian resident Lee Henderson.
Working alongside local craftsmen Dennis McBain and Ian law, Lee has designed a number of copper vessels to capture and contain spirit breath as well as a number of works on paper. In addition to the gallery based works, Lee’s chosen theme will also be present in a number of ghostly interventions across the distillery site.
The new exhibition will include more dark paintings by Ching Chen Yuan and there will also be new works by Fran Rokhlin and the recipient of this year’s Emerging Indian Artist Award, Sitaram Swain.
The private view will be held on Friday 25th August starting at 6.30 with the exhibition being fully open to the public as of Saturday 26th August.
