B3 Media’s Talent Lab 2014 is a cross-platform talent development programme aimed at minority ethnic creatives who are ready to take their projects to the next level - and Emergents is offering two writers, if their application for a place is successful, the opportunity of a bursary (including the Talent Lab fees and travel expenses) on this year’s Lab!
Talent Lab 2014 will offer participants an unrivalled opportunity to hone their skills, sharpen their focus and gain the contacts and confidence to compete in producing multimedia content for multi platform distribution and connecting their work with audiences on and offline.
We’re looking for writers with a strong story to tell and a track record in visual and digital arts, film and TV, radio and theatre. B3 Media will shortlist 20 candidates from across the UK to participate in a series of development labs slated for June/July 2014. From these labs, up to 12 projects will be selected for further development and up to 6 projects will be commissioned and produced between August and October 2014 with an opportunity to present their work in venues in Nottingham and London at the end of the program.
