Over the past fours years we have run the Crafts Mentoring Scheme - Making Progress and more recently the sister scheme - Made to Measure.
The Making Progress and Made to Measure programmes are designed for makers based in the Highlands and Islands at any level from new graduate to well established makers.
The main criteria for those involved is that they should be a professional maker (i.e. in business, retailing and/or exhibiting theirwork), working full or part time and looking to grow their business.
Previous makers on Making Progress have gone onto develop and grow their businesses to a new level and we invite them along to our networking events to pass on their knowledge and support.
We were delighted to be awarded Business Mentoring Project 2012, from the Scottish Mentoring Network for our programme.
